HOW DO I BOOK?

Please use the contact us form to send us a message - please be sure to send us as much information as you can on your dog and their training needs.

WHAT IS RESIDENTIAL TRAINING AND WHERE WILL IT BE HELD?

Bushmoor kennels is a licenced boarding kennels with full time staff and excellent reviews, often a change of environment involving time in kennels assists in the dog developing faster in periods of training. Training is split into 20 minutes sessions which is better for learning.
There would need to be an assessment prior to residential training so specific issues can be agreed and targeted.  Training would be videoed with a daily update to the client. The targets would need to be realistic and achievable with a full handover at the end. In addition to receiving video evidence of the training in practice you will be provided a full written report identifying how you can continue the dogs training at home.

WILL I BE PROMISED A COMPLETE CHANGE IN MY DOGS BEHAVIOUR AT THE START OF TRAINING?

The answer is no, based on experience you will be told what you are likely to achieve and how to achieve the change.  Some behaviours are so established it takes a lot of time to make major changes but with hard work, a consistent approach to your dog and their training will always bring about significant improvement. With good instruction from an experienced instructor the chances are high.

IF I WANT TO SOCIALISE MY DOG OR PUPPY CAN THIS BE DONE?

Yes, we have a number of dogs that are sociable, well balanced and not reactive. Its important for your dog to meet the right dog in training and progress to meeting more reactive dogs under controlled conditions and with instruction.
